Kick Off the Holidays at the Galleria
It’s getting close to that time of year: time to deck the halls with boughs of holly, (fa la la la la, la la la la,) trim the tree, prep and light the candles, baste the turkey, buy or make the gifts, and bring in the family. Indeed, the Holidays are right around the corner, and while they’re meant to be a time of celebration and warmth, sadly that’s not always the case. Hunting for the perfect present might prove a problem when everyone else wants the same thing, and of course finding those deals on Black Friday are a hardship that no one should have to endure. The Dallas Galleria understands that pain, so they plan to celebrate the magical way the holidays are meant to be, and the best part is that the upcoming Alexan Central Apartments are a mere ten minutes away.
The Dallas Galleria features over hundreds of various stores from world renown brands, such as Macy’s, Prada, Victoria’s Secret, Gap, and many more. With three different shopping floors and an expansive food court, and an indoor ice skating rink available for free skating and private rentals, there’s something for everyone’s interests and needs, and with the occasional celebrity or huge sale event it’s sure to keep you coming back and satisfied. Mall hours are from 10am to 9pm on Monday through Saturday, and 12 to 6 pm on Sunday.
Starting from November 25th – Black Friday – up until Christmas Eve, the Galleria will be celebrating in honor of the season. The entire mall will be decorated in festive fashion, with lights hanging all over the rails and halls, along with the largest indoor Christmas tree at the heart of the mall. The lighting ceremony on the 25th will feature children singers and skaters from around Dallas, ice skating performances from medal winning US Olympic ice skaters, and the Missile Toe performers. Performances will occur daily on 2 pm, 4 pm, 6 pm, as well as 8pm on any day other than Sunday. And of course, Black Friday and other special sales will be going on in nearly every store in the Galleria, so it’s hard to miss out on a great deal.
